Hello again.
I have yet another question. I've been seeing TONS of downloadable PS2 games, but from what I've read, you can only play them on your PS2 if you have some sort of mod chip installed on your PS2. I can't afford to do this OR buy games (on disability). Can someone tell me how they do it? |

You can either get and install a mod chip for around 50 bucks for the chip plus installation or just go buy a special disk called a "Swap Disk". Th swap disk is cheaper, but I don't remember what the price is on it. I think your best bet would be to buy the swap disk. It requires no installation and is usable on any PS2 I believe. I would do a google search for swap disk and see what comes up from it.

Try going here, ConsoleSource.com.
It should give you ideas on mod choices and prices. And just be carefull where you get your mod chip from, (if you decide to go that route). Because it is now ILLEGAL to buy or have mod chips brought into this country. I think the natzi organization responsible for that is called DMI or sone crap like that. (Just another freedom stifled.)
