Echochrome is easily one of the more exciting, most creative PSN titles we've seen yet, and it smartly stays the course of meat-and-potatoes puzzle-solving over interfering aesthetics. It still has the rough edges of an unfinished idea, but Sony's Japan studio seems perfectly capable of polishing it to brilliance. If those mechanics fall into place and the levels continue to cleverly toe the line of sublime challenge and overwhelming frustration, it could be a very satisfying spring for our thirsty brains
